6 Years Old!!! Birthday!!!

OMG, you are 6 years old now!!  I can’t believe how much you have grown and how you continue to amaze me every single day!

This year, per your request, we had an Ice-skating party at Iceland here in Dublin.  We invited your friends from school, and also Mia, Surabhi, Noah, and a few other friends from outside of school.  It was so much fun watching you skate with your friends, and also skating with you and your friends!  We forgot to bring a knife for the cake, so instead of slicing it up individually, we just told all you girls to grab a fork and ‘dig in’!  That was fun 🙂   We had your party the weekend before your birthday, on December 10th.  On your actual birthday, Grandma came up for it, and we went out to Chuck E. Cheese for dinner and games.  As a special surprise, your BF and neighbor, Haris, showed up with his parents so you got to play with him as well 🙂   Then you opened all of your presents the next morning (Saturday).  It was a great birthday overall and you had such a good time.  BUT, you “still don’t feel like you’re six!”  🙂

Thanksgiving 2017

We spent the entire week at Grandma & Grandpa’s house for Thanksgiving this year!  It was just you and I, mommy stayed at home.  We drove down Sunday evening, 11/19, at 5pm.  Uncle Ryan and his girlfriend Erin drove down with us.  We picked them up from the BART station at 4:45pm and took off!  We arrived at Grandma & Grandpa’s around 11pm.  We had a really great week just relaxing, playing, going to the park, going to the movies (The Star), more playing and coloring and more playing!  🙂   Nanny and Pappy came over on Wednesday and Thursday.  Eric brought her little dog Cooper with her, and you just loved playing with her!  You wanted to bring Cooper home with us.  We left on Friday, 11/24, at 4pm and arrived back home at 10:30pm.  All in all it was a great week!

Art Contest!

We’ve been doing a lot of creative activities lately, and one of our favorites is drawing 🙂  We had a drawing contest the other day and this is what we did.  So abstract and beautiful!  I love it 🙂

Life just isn’t fair!

We were having a fun afternoon playing with Legos, until your castle broke and then you were all crankalicious from there.  lol.  Life is rough and just not fair for 5 year olds 🙂

Halloween costume :)

It’s not Halloween yet, but your costume is so damn cute I have to post it somewhere 🙂
