On Thursday, April 1st, 2021, we decided to take a walk to the creek in the evening because it was so warm and a beautiful evening. We just happened to find a duck nest, with a mommy-duck sitting on top of her eggs, and several male-ducks protecting her. It was very cool to see!
This is your submission for your virtual-taekwondo tournament on Saturday, March 27th.
I am so proud of you for this. I don’t care if you win, or even place 2nd or 3rd. You already won. Why? Because you overcame your fear of using your voice and being loud. Ever since you started taekwondo you have been very hesitant to use your voice loudly when doing a “hiya!” or even announcing your name. Your form and techniques are excellent, and you are constantly ‘spotlighted’ in the virtual classes because of this. The last two tournaments you did not win, nor place, and you were disappointed. It was clear that your form and technique were much better than a lot of the other girls, BUT, they were a lot louder and did use their voice, which is why I think they placed above you.
So, great job baby. You were scared, and very uncomfortable, but you did it, and you felt better afterwards (just like I said you would 🙂 )
On Tuesday, December 17th 2019, I chaperoned your class again on a field trip to see The Nutcracker. We had a lot of fun this year! Avi and Noelia rode in the car with us, and you 3 girls were shrieking and screaming and laughing the entire time! The Nutcracker itself was just ok. The 1st half is entertaining, and the 2nd half gets really long and boring. But overall we all had a great time!
